Co-owner, Brewer and Barrel Mistress

I moved to Denmark in 2013 and to Bornholm in 2014 to start our beautiful brewery with my hubby. The Danish food, drinks and hospitality industry is incredibly welcoming and filled with beautifully talented people. It is a joy to be part of. We have loved working with bars and restaurants to brew them their own beers as well as with sommeliers to show them how incredible well beer and food pair.

I love Torvehallerne as a whole but this is my go to bar to sit at for wine and food. A small menu but also a great range of daily specials that are always changing. A white burgundy, funky orange wine or a beer from Slowburn are my go to drinks and I love the squid with xo sauce and kale, the grilled zucchini with fresh cheese or the chicken heart pita. And always a freshly made canelé to finish.

My go to beer bar and happy drinking hole. A courtyard when there is sun and a cozy rustic cellar when it is a bit cooler. 24 taps of beer that are always changing and a list that is really well balanced between styles so there is something for everyone. Also, the staff knows the products and breweries that are on the board so you can always ask them for info.

I used to live in Italy and this place makes me feel at home. I like to start with a Negroni. Then bubbles. They have a great wine selection. I will always order a pasta dish (or two) as they are melt in your mouth, heavenly bites. And then, just more food :)

We love sitting at the bar so we can chatter to other people around us and the wonderful staff. We let them keep our Sake full of different kinds of sake as they know so much about their incredible collection. I always order the Chicken Karaage, the Gyoza and the Gyutataki but then I just keep adding as the whole menu is perfect!
