Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Jungle ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Jungle is a platform connecting food and beverage enthusiasts with recommendations from industry professionals in Copenhagen. We provide place discovery, curated lists, event ticketing, voucher deals (drops), and business management tools.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. Authentication is handled via email one-time codes.

4. User Roles

Jungle has different user roles with different capabilities:

• Members — browse places, follow others, save private recommendations
• Industry Professionals — share public recommendations that appear in the guide. Invitation only.
• Business Managers — manage venue pages, create events and drops, sell tickets

Industry Professional status is granted by invitation and may be revoked if recommendations are found to be misleading or in violation of these terms.

5. User Content

Users may submit content including recommendations, notes, reviews, photos, and profile information. You retain ownership of your content but grant Jungle a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it in connection with the Service. Public recommendations from industry professionals are visible to all users and may appear in curated lists.

6. Purchases and Payments

When purchasing tickets or vouchers through Jungle, you agree to provide accurate payment information. All payments are processed through Stripe. Refund policies are set by individual event organizers and venues. Jungle facilitates the transaction but is not the seller of record for events or drops.

7. Cookies and Privacy

Our use of cookies and handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge our use of necessary cookies. Functional and analytics cookies require your explicit consent, which you can manage via the cookie banner.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false, misleading, or paid-for recommendations without disclosure
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your professional affiliation
• Scrape, crawl, or automatically collect data from the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems

9. Intellectual Property

The Jungle name, logo, design, and platform are owned by Jungle. You may not use our branding without written permission. Place information sourced from Google Maps is subject to Google's Terms of Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

Jungle is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. We do not guarantee the accuracy of recommendations or place information.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
