l’Alsace
French restaurant. A hidden gem with classic delicious food. A family restaurant — been there for ages and they keep delivering high quality food, service, and atmosphere. I always eat at this place around Christmas every year with my family. Try the Choucroute Alsacienne — you won't regret it.
Sonny
Fantastic café — it's easy to feel the two owners' (Sara & David) personalities and their quality taste for food and coffee.
Palæ Bar
An old bar in the middle of Copenhagen. Always a good atmosphere and happy faces. Would order an "håndbajer" — or you can say Tuborg.
Maison
This place cares about their ingredients — it's easy to taste that. It's an original French bistro. It feels like a time pocket. I would definitely order Burgundy Escargots, Anchovies Toast and, of course, Chicken Fricassee.
Færgecaféen
Færgecaféen on Christianshavn. Classic Danish and traditional smørrebrød. They have several homemade "snaps". Try it all and "skål".
