Educated from the Danish School of Journalism but something just kept pulling me back to the restaurants. To acknowledge my need for working with food is the best decision I've ever made.

Go on Sundays, maybe a bit hungover. Go with your loved ones and just sit back and let the amazing waiters guide you through your meal. The place gives me a feeling of coming home. Their menu is traditionally smørrebrød and served exactly as it should be served.

Located right next to the canals at Christianshavn. Perfect place to take your grandparents, parents, in-laws, business partners (you get it). High quality food and wine combined with a casual atmosphere. Would eat fish, veggies and drink white wine.

My favorite spot for almost any occasion. Their wines are always interesting and the food is simple, tasty and surprising. The team is super confident and they understand to create a laid-back atmosphere which makes the food and wine stand out even stronger. If you haven't booked a table you can try to call them and if you're lucky to get a table you can wait next door at Cafe Stjernen with a beer. They'll let you know when your table is ready.

I grew up on Amager where Flyvergrillen is located and I used to go there with my mom if we needed something to eat on our way home. Basically, people go there to watch airplanes landing and takeoff. But you can get bølgepomfritter with remoulade among other classic Danish fast food dishes. Go in the summertime with friends, eat lunch and drink bottled beer.

In Copenhagen the bun and cheese competition is real. Alice is a great contender located at Christmas Møllers plads, in a former kiosk space. Besides the bun their coffee is great, they have a nice selection of natural wines, homemade ice-cream and makes a killer baguette with ham and cheese.
