Omegn & Venner
Denny has a background at The Fat Duck, Herman, and Kong Hans Kælder. My plan is to go there for a wet lunch with lots of wild food and entrails. Omegn og Venner has become something of an industry hangout. You meet lots of restaurant people there.
Den Vandrette
For me, this is the wine bar with the best food in Copenhagen. Their wines, especially the ones from Loire, are really special. I look forward to sitting in the sun with a good bottle and some class charcuterie.
Hos Fischer
I’ll go there for the Cacio e Pepe. It’s a fantastic dish where the ingredients really shine through. Good pasta. Two great kinds of cheese. Pepper. That’s it. It’s an oasis in Østerbro and a place where I can take the family, have some good pasta, good red wine and just relax.
Sushi Anaba
I have not been to Anaba yet, but it is on top of my list to try. A lot of people are saying that this is probably the next Michelin star in town. Mads is extremely dedicated, and when he says his ambition is to become the best sushi restaurant in Europe, I believe him.
Donda
Donda is the closest thing to going to Mexico right now. The place is really intimate and the staff is always super present. The wine and drinks are amazing and the ceviche is good. The spiciness of Donda’s food goes perfectly with orange wines.
