» I have to admit that laziness stops me from going across town to Refshaleøen very often, but when I do, I always make sure to pick up some bread at Lille. The other day I got a fantastic purple wheat and walnut bread. «

» Refhaleøen is still one my favorite areas in Copenhagen, alive and buzzing in the summer, rough and quiet during the winter. Lille Bakery is located out there and so much more than a bakery. The bread is on point, but so are all the small plates. I love to go to that part of Copenhagen for a swim in the summer or winter if I’m feeling frisky. Lille is the perfect spot to go no matter what I need. «

» The home feel mixed with the industrial vibe makes it a great place to start the day. On warmer days its the place to go when going for a bite before taking a swim. The outside seating and the communal tables helps creating a “community” while you are there. It makes you to connect, talk, laugh and just enjoy the fast pace of the kitchen. «

» This bakery is located in the hip ex-industrial area of Refshaleøen, and to bike there on a sunny day is one of my favorite ways to spend a day off. The space and the area outside are quite unique, and their food, baked goods, and homemade drinks are delicious. I love the egg toast. «

» So much love went into building this place and making it happen and you can feel that when you’re there. I would ride out there for just one of their sausage rolls with fennel. «

» I’ve never not felt like going here. Staff makes you feel like you’re a regular on your first visit and everything that’s made is heaps authentic. «
