Good Pizza Places
These places are personally recommended by local chefs, sommeliers and other people who work on CPH's independent food scene.
Pizza Art
» I'm on a personal pizza tour of Copenhagen at the moment. Pizza Art is definitely the best surprise yet. Get a Margherita and enjoy! «
Johann Duedahl Jacobsen
Ancestrale

Pizzeria da Gallo
» This is a secret spot in the suburb Husum, where I grew up. It's placed in the middle of nowhere close to my old football club. I swear, it makes the best Neapolitan pizzas! Lots of Italians living in Copenhagen are going here to buy their pizza. «
Anton Møller
Contento & Silberbauers Bistro

Superbello
» Great napolese style Pizza with solid Cocktails and great pasta and risotto. The calamari is a must! «
Terkel Kleist
Gensyn Bar

Neighbourhood
» They probably have the best vegetarian pizza I have ever had. That burrata didn't stand a chance. Also, for their cocktails, they infuse all of their liquors with spices in-house, making all their cocktails unique and very delicious — especially with the pizzas. «
Alexander Gammelgaard Sevel
Nescio

Corsa Pizza
» I am almost always in the mood for pizza and Corsa delivers on that front. I eat their Margherita for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On top of that, they show the most pro-cycling races! When the Giro d'Italia starts, I will definitely watch some of the stages there with plenty of beautiful crust within range. Tip: Check out their wine shelves. Really good wine for amazing prices. «
Sigurd Kjeldgaard
Jah Izakaya

Pizza Huset
» There is so much hype about all the new pizza places from the big players where they serve sourdough pizzas for 125 kr. But this place - which, by the way, has been existing for 40 years now - serves the best pizza in my opinion. They use good tasty flour for the dough that also makes it crispy at the bottom. «
Yusef Houji
Nordisk Falafel

BÆST
» They make the best pizza in town, and as a bonus they make their own cheese to put on. «
Rosa Marie Hansen
Gavlen

» When I think a place to go for dinner, one of the first that come to my mind is Baest. The garlic bread with lardo and Ramson capers, the Nduja pizza, the burrata, Charcutarie, and the list go on. It’s so simple that it’s so unbelievably good. With the open kitchen you can always have a closer peak to what is going on. A great place to start your evening. «
Henrique Castilho
Apollo

» My old workspace and a place I love. I always eat their marinara with stracciatella — the best pizza I have ever tried. I drink negroni, eat charcuterie, and finish off the meal with an espresso. «
Mathias Silberbauer
Silberbauers Bistro

» Amazing Mozzarella! Great servings for not a lot of money. «
Emil Luigi Mathis Vang
República del Cacao

» I love way they make things, everything from scratch, also all kind og cheese and charcuterie they make italian style. «
Gonzalo Wolfsohn
Gorda

Pizzeria Luca
» In Copenhagen, you can search for a long time for a good, simple pizza. When I tried Luca for the first time, I knew that I had found a special place. I always go for a simple pizza to try it out, and their Margherita is just perfect. Sitting on Gammel Strand eating pizza and having drinks is just a perfect Copenhagen summer! «
Alexander Sjøstrøm
Snack & Blues

Gola
» Wow! We finally have an amazing pizza al taglio place in Copenhagen — just like when I'm home visiting my childhood district Trastevere in Rome. The taste, the vibe, the owner's charm, and everything about Gola is like some of my favorite pizza al taglio places in Trastevere. «
Fabro Gang
Fabro

» My local pizza (slice) joint made by real people. Antonio is quite a character. Also a small but good selection of wines for take out. «
Rasmus Seidler Krebs
Giallo

» The guys at Gola are making the best pizza slice in town. Pro tip: Always buy extra and eat it for breakfast — great hungover cure when your favorite ramen joint is closed. «
Andrea Piras
Slurp

Diamond Slice
» An authentic New York style pizza-by-the-slice-joint in the heart of Nørrebro.
Run by chef Jan Kopacz, my former head chef at Bæst. Guaranteed quality and a love for food, that you can taste in every slice. «
Emiliano Trebbi
The Caribbean Housewife

OTTO Pizza
» OTTO pizza does the trick for my pizza liking! It's so light and fluffy and just tastes really, really good. And great for re-heating if you should have leftovers! «
Kamilla Seidler
Restaurant Lola

MaMeMi Pizzeria
» The best place in town if you are a pizza and wine lover! A nice selection of gourmet Roman pizza, based on unconventional ingredients, and classic Italian starters and desserts. The wine list is worthy of a Michelin restaurant, curated by the co-owner and sommelier, Danilo. The wines are Italian, natural, and low-intervention. «
Marco Bon
Bar Poldo

» I dream about their pork pancetta, potato, and rosemary pizza «
Helen Fodnæss
The Cookie Aisle

» It goes against the trend and offers a terrific Roman pizza. Not only that, but their wine list is out of this world — as are their prices. Simplicity and taste, everything that should never be missing in a pizzeria. «
Luca Donninelli
Strutto

Surt
» Some of the best pizza I've ever had. And Pizza is Love. «
Nate French
noma

» I used to live dangerously close to SURT. Their pizzas are just ridiculously good. And I don't sell wines to them, so I'm not saying it to suck up to them. Haha. «
Tue Bach
Volatil

» It's just fucking amazing pizza, and a great place to take your family. «
Stu Stalker
POPL

» I eat their pizza at least once a week, and dream about it even more often. It is hands down the best pizza I've ever had. I love the people and the food they craft. My last meal would be a Margherita, followed by a grappa and an espresso. «
Philipp Inreiter
Slurp

» Probably the best pizza in town!
The dough is extremely light and the ingredients they use are very good, they also have a nice selection of wines that you can definitely match with the pizza!
Once you try it you can’t wait to go back. «
Paolo Civitella
Rondo

» The pizza here is some of the best in the city! «
Lisa Lov
Tigermom

» I´m in love with pizzeria Surt because, in my opinion, Giuseppe Oliva and his team are making the best pizza in Copenhagen.
From the flavour of the dough to the hight quality ingredients they use and import from Sicily, to the amazing wine selection that they have created. Not to forget the wonderful and tasty starters that they also offer, using ingredients from small local farms. «
Nicola Fanetti
Brace

» If I want to splurge on carbs, Surt is the place to go. Their sourdough pizza is one of the best in town and so wholesome. They know which natural wine I like and their service never disappoints. «
Jamain Brigitha
The Caribbean Housewife

» Peppe makes perhaps the best pizza I have ever had in recent memory. It is the perfect combination of technique and ingredients presented in one of the most widely appreciated genres of food. A couple of pies and a bottle of Alessandro Viola, and you will have a superb night cued up. «
Kenneth Foong

Forno a Legna
» Forno a Legna is one of my favorite places in Copenhagen. I've been going there since I moved to Denmark from Italy as a child. Same as Fabro, this place has a very authentic and casual Italian vibe. The sweet owner, Giancarlo, is a very good friend of mine and, if you ever visit, you will probably meet him, since he never takes a day off. «
