YAM was founded in 2019 by Kai Semple, Copenhagen based creative chef and food stylist, originally from London.

The sole purpose behind his concept is to create a unique experience through food. Inspired by his upbringing he felt there was a need to revitalise Caribbean cuisine and give it a modern twist whilst paying homage to classical dishes.

YAM means “to eat” in Jamaican Patois, and that’s exactly what we’re gonna do when Kai visits us for a Caribbean styled, 3-course family dinner on november 2!
