
VAMOSVAMOS kitchen takeover at JOSEPHINE
VamosVamos is taking over our kitchen for a hangover-friendly brunch again! Chef Juliàn Rodrigez will be serving “Torta Ahogada” aka. the “Ultimate Hangover Sandwich” from noon until sold out on March 30, Sunday.
Torta Ahogada originates from the Mexican state of Jalisco, and it is filled with beans, avocado, pulled pork, pickled onions and finally drenched in a spicy tomato-chili sauce. Leave your Sunday clothes at home for this one, coz it’s gonna get messy. The Birote Salado (the classic Mexican sourdough bread) will be made by baker Juan José. As part of an optional menu, they’ll serve a tostada and a Martinez for that hair of the dog too. As always: no reservations, first come first served!
