Turkish Classics: Sarma & Dolma

MAMAKA X KAVATA
1415
11:30 Saturday May 31

A little Turkish feast to enjoy by the Christianshavn canal.
This time a couple of Mediterranean staple;
Sarma: Stuffed vine leaves; a classic Mediterranean favorite.
Kabak çiçeği dolması: Stuffed zucchini flowers with subtle flavor.

What is Gün?
In Turkish, Gün means “day” but also carries a special meaning: a gathering, usually around a table, where friends come together to eat, talk, share, and just be.

Gün Club is our Copenhagen version of that: intimate event inspired by this spirit, a place where culture, cuisine, and community meet over a plate.

The experience is brought to you by Mamaka, a gastroshop by the Christianshavn canal owned by Sezin, with a curated selection of kitchen tools, culinary specialties, rare finds, and cookbooks; and a special takeout counter just for this event.

In the kitchen is Kavata, the food project of our collaborating chef Nesrin; Turkish culinary explorations, infused with the soul of Istanbul.

To sip alongside: craft beer from Slowburn, and special Turkish tea and Turkish coffee from Mamaka.

It’s all for takeaway and canal-side enjoyment.

From 11:30 until sold out.
