We are excited to share that Baan Thai Isarn is now serving Nûm Bakery’s delicious homemade coconut and Thai iced tea ice cream, just like you’d enjoy it in Thailand!

Baan Thai Isarn, one of the city’s oldest Thai restaurant – opened over 35 years ago – can now be found at 2 locations in Vesterbro: at Lille Istedgade 7 and at Halmtorvet 44. Starting this Friday, we’ll be scooping delicious and authentic Thai ice cream, made by Nûm Bakery.

The bakery was founded in 2021 by Heidi and Navin, a young Thai couple, and their business has been growing ever since. They share the same dream: to create a Thai dessert place that celebrates and represents the rich food culture of their homeland.

Baan Thai Isarn and Nûm Bakery are also sharing this dream: which in this case has manifested in a delicious summer treat: Thai ice cream (aka. thaice cream??). Visit us in Vesterbro and get some to stay or to go, as a dessert after your meal or just as a small daytime bite!
