Business Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Overview

These Business Terms govern the relationship between you ("Business", "Manager", or "you") and Jungle ("we", "us", or "the Platform") when you register as a business on Jungle. These terms supplement our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

By creating a business account, you confirm that you are authorized to represent the venue or business you are registering and that you agree to these terms.

2. Service Description

Jungle provides business accounts with tools to:

  • Manage a public venue page with photos, description, and posts
  • Create and manage ticketed events
  • Create and manage drops (voucher deals)
  • Access analytics on page views and engagement
  • Receive payments via Stripe Connect

Jungle is a discovery and ticketing platform. We connect your venue with food enthusiasts and industry professionals but do not guarantee specific outcomes such as ticket sales, foot traffic, or revenue.

3. Account and Verification

Business accounts are subject to verification. We may request documentation to confirm your relationship with the venue. We reserve the right to reject or revoke business accounts that cannot be verified or that violate these terms.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

4. Fees and Pricing

Jungle currently offers business accounts at no platform fee. We reserve the right to introduce fees or paid tiers in the future with at least 30 days notice.

Payment processing fees charged by Stripe (currently 1.5% + 1.80 DKK per transaction for European cards) are passed through to the business and deducted from payouts.

5. Payments and Payouts

Ticket and voucher payments are processed through Stripe Connect. By using our payment features, you agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement.

  • Payouts are made to your connected Stripe account on Stripe's standard schedule
  • You are responsible for providing accurate bank and tax information to Stripe
  • Jungle does not hold funds — payments flow directly through Stripe

6. Events and Drops

As the organizer, you are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy of event and drop information (dates, times, descriptions, pricing)
  • Fulfilling the experience as described to ticket and voucher holders
  • Setting and honoring your refund policy
  • Complying with local regulations for food events, permits, and alcohol service

Jungle facilitates the transaction but is not the seller of record. We are not liable for cancellations, changes, or disputes between you and your customers.

7. Refund Policy

You set your own refund policy for events and drops. Your refund policy must be clearly communicated to buyers. If no policy is specified, a reasonable refund for cancellations applies.

In cases of dispute, Jungle may mediate but the final refund responsibility lies with the business.

8. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, descriptions, posts). By uploading content, you grant Jungle a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote it in connection with the Platform — including in marketing, social media, and curated lists.

You confirm that you have the rights to all content you upload and that it does not infringe on third-party intellectual property.

9. Data and Privacy

When customers purchase tickets or vouchers from your venue, you will receive their name and email for fulfillment purposes. You agree to:

  • Use customer data only for the specific transaction and event
  • Not add customers to marketing lists without their explicit consent
  • Handle customer data in accordance with GDPR

See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

10. Prohibited Activities

Business accounts may not:

  • Misrepresent venue ownership or affiliation
  • Post misleading event or pricing information
  • Use the platform for activities unrelated to food, beverage, or hospitality
  • Scrape or redistribute platform data
  • Engage in fraudulent transactions

11. Termination

You may close your business account at any time by contacting us. Outstanding payouts will be processed on the regular Stripe schedule.

We may suspend or terminate business accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. Upon termination, your venue page will be removed and pending events will be cancelled with refunds issued to ticket holders.

12. Liability

Jungle's liability is limited to the platform fees paid (if any). We are not liable for lost revenue, event cancellations, or customer disputes. The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.

14. Changes

We may update these Business Terms with at least 30 days notice via email. Continued use of the business features after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
