From Greek aunties to Istanbul´s hidden streets, KAVATA is rolling out the dough for a classic: Börek.
Join us for a flaky, buttery time machine, stuffed with cheese, herbs, and centuries of shared custody.
We´ll be serving hand-rolled böreks, pomegranate-braised eggplants, mastic-infused milk pudding and more.
Come celebrate the layered story of Greek and Turkish culinary roots.
The experience is brought you by Mamaka, a gastro-shop by the Christianshavn canal, with selection of kitchen tools, culinary specialties, rare finds, cookbooks and a special takeout counter just for this event.
In the kitchen is Kavata, the food project by chef Nesrin, Turkish culinary explorations, infused with the soul of Istanbul.
To sip alongside: Turkish Coffee & Turkish tea and craft beer from Slowburn.
It´s all takeaway and canal-side enjoyment.
