I hail from the goon bag nation of Australia where I started drinking, learning, making, pouring, pairing and talking shit about wine as a teenager some (-ish) years ago. From the fields and fine dining to the point I am now, one constant has remained, which is that wine is a freakin' fun alcoholic beverage worth screaming with joy over, and everyone deserves to feel GOOD when drinking and talking about it. Whether they have no idea what flavour they’re getting (but they wanna marry it) or they're sniffing notes of cherry chihuahua, they're having fun and finding their way, as so they should.

» At this point, my second living room and the go to of all my friends. They carry a load of mega fun beers from Germany and Poland etc etc, the vibe is always fun n' safe, everyone that works there is a dang delight, and for bonus points the staff usually have a bag of sunflower seeds on the bar. «

» A newish restaurant and the only reason I ever go to Sydhavn. It’s an “accessible” (what a word) approach to nose to tail and farm to table dining with a focus on shared plates. The flavours are tight, the ingredients top notch, the toilet light is red and they have a great list of wines and beers (probably other stuff as well, but I have yet to try them) that are FUN for the whole family, haha. «

» Favourite place to get Sichuan and Tsingtao in Copenhagen, there's none of that diluting spices to please a Scandinavian audience going on here. When I die, bury me inside menu item 110. Oh, and you can also bring your own drinks if you're feeling up to it, for a pretty minimal corkage fee. «
