Philip Jae Worth Jacobsen

Manager & Sommelier
Café Dyrehaven
My name is Philip and I recently took over the task of managing Café Dyrehaven. I have worked in the Copenhagen restaurant scene for about 10 years and have been managing Friheden, Manfreds (when it was open) & Bæst. I love wine, skateboarding & music but only good enough to make a living out of one of those things.

Safari

lunch, outdoor seating
nørrebro
» I love to come to Safari to enjoy an unpretentious, well-tasting dinner in low key surroundings. Nice affordable wine selection, loud hip hop & nice hospitality! Also have good friends working there so it feels very homely to me! Take the Set Menu which is very cheap, choose a nice bottle of wine, & sit back & enjoy yourself. Don't ask to turn down the music (don't be that person) & always start with a Negroni! «

Pompette

charcuterie, natural wine, open sundays, outdoor seating, wine bar
nørrebro
» Well I dont think this spot needs much explanation. It is a great little spot to drink wine and snack a few tasty plates of cheese (ricotta & anchovies!). The wines are priced very generously compared to many places in Copenhagen & the place is super cozy. They don't serve Negroni so start with bubbles «

Lidkoeb

cocktails
vesterbro
» Cocktail time! The building is an old Pharmacy and very beautiful (if you are going on a date bring them here "laughing smiley" - don't know how to make it on a computer hahaha.). Great cocktails & knowledgeable staff. Start with a Negroni & then order an Amaretto Sour if you have not had it before! (not on the menu but they know how to make a banging one if you into something sweet & sour!) «

Gaarden & Gaden

bistro, breakfast, dinner, lunch, natural wine, open sundays, oysters
nørrebro
» I mainly come here to have a drink but the food is also really nice. When you can sit outside I love to people watch (it is right next to a super busy bike lane) while having a beer or a nice bottle of wine. Also the staff here are super friendly! Always start with a Negroni! «

Mêlée

bib gourmand, bistro, french, outdoor seating
frederiksberg
» It has been a while since my last visit but I never leave anything short of completely satisfied! Classic french cooking, heavy on the butter & sauces, & wine nerds working on the floor who are very capable of finding the right wine for you. In my opinion just a great restaurant with classic, simple but very tasty food. Actually never had a Negroni here...So start with Champagne ;) «
