Chef Hyunwoo (Atelier September) is cooking three of his favourite childhood dishes at Enghave Kaffe – served in a way that feels like being invited into someone’s home.
🥢Gimbap: A seaweed rice roll filled with tuna, carrot, and and crisp veggies. A humble yet addictive dish, deeply connected to everyday life of Koreans
🍜 Japchae: Glass noodles stir-fried with chives, mushrooms, carrot, and onion. A light, savory-sweet dish full of texture and balance
🍲 Miyeok-guk: aka the iconic “Korean Birthday Soup”. A nourishing, mineral-rich soup made with seaweed. Traditionally served on birthdays and after childbirth, symbolizing care, renewal, and gratitude.

About the Chef
Hyunwoo is a chef from Seoul, South Korea. After years working in the culinary world back home, he left his longtime job this spring to travel — a journey that led him to Copenhagen. Deeply inspired by the city’s warmth and creativity, he returned on a working holiday and now cooks at Atelier September.
